My TV is model UN65NU6080FXZA on 1251 firmware. Called 2 weeks ago about the Apple TV app not showing up. The rep confirmed that my TV should have it. We attempted a hard reset and smart hub reset with no success for the app. I waited 2 weeks to see if it will show up. Still no ATV. I put in a ticket #2212047910 and spoke with a rep. This rep told me Apple TV is not yet available for Samsung and to wait. Did I just get blown off?? Now I’m not sure if I just got bad service or something is wrong with my TV. What do I do now?

Tom,
Samsung's own web page on compatible TV models would contradict what you're saying. In fact, it appears to be available on NU6070 and higher models in that class.

Not sure what you mean by condracting. In my post I am referring to my NU6080, which is showing as one of the TVs that Apple TV is available for. Unless you mistakenly responded to me in response to someone else’s reply to my post in which they said Apple TV is not available for my TV. Not sure where they got their information from.

The rep confirmed it is available for my TV and it is also listed on Samsung’s website as being available for my TV. Along with many other TVs..Not just the NU7100.

Tom,
my apologies. I meant to refer to Danny, who replied that appleTV is only available on models above the 7100.

Hi all.
That 'UN' at the start of TomMcC7606's TV model code indicates it's a US model. (I'm sure he knows where he is, but it's perhaps not as obvious to others on here. ;))
100% cool that non-UK peeps want to post here (and you're all welcome), but to save confusion (as per my post here) worth noting that this forum is supported by the Samsung UK & Ireland team, and so the Mods here only have accurate info for Samsung UK & Ireland stuff. There's also a US Samsung Community if you're looking for more accurate info and advice on your products - or just to connect with folks nearer to you.
There's more info on decoding Samsung TV model numbers here, but the short version of how to figure out which region a post-2008 Samsung TV is made for is looking for the second letter in the full model code:
A = Asia/Africa
E = Europe
N = North/South America
