Anyone else have the issue with the built-in browser where embedded videos are not showing?   They used to before this update...  (Wish I could downgrade this firmware)

So to make it clear to everyone, the problems we collect under this link are related to the 1242 software! KS7000 KS7500 KS8000 KS8500 KS9000 KS9500 KS9505 KS9800 etc.. SUHD SERIES

Here we also delve deeper into several software problems that caused the image quality to deteriorate, for example: local dimming / smart led algorithm problem, and other quality degradation that several people noticed with the 1242 firmware update. We look forward to the next fixes!

Hi, ever since 1242 my tv is overheating. As a result after 50 to 90 min the image begins to flicker. Turning the tv off seems to make it go back to normal. Does anyone else have this problem? Trying to reach Samsung seems to be a complicated process here in Denmark.

Samsung have kinda been absolute asses here. After a very long wait I was told that if I want the problem solved i need to take the tv to them and pay. This is absurd seeing how the problem with both the overheating and the image flickering never appeared until the FW update. 

    I am very much tempted to believe that this might just be a way for Samsung to upgrade. Needless to say my relation with Samsung stops with this product. At least this is not exploding I guess so that is still something. Something to think before giving Samsung thousands of euros\dollars. I have an old Sony from like 2008 or 09 it works flawlessly.

Yes I'm having the same issue. I was told that they enhanced the experience of apps but we may not be able to watch embedded videos anymor browser was built for browsing and not streaming 🤬. So basically they cut us off. I have an older 60" that still plays videos. I disabled the auto update incase they send an update to it

now your TV become non functional. they force you to buy new TV. that's their trick.
