I have newly purchased Samsung TV SAMSUNG Crystal 4K iSmart Series 108 cm (43 inch) Model no: UA43CUE60AKLXL. I'm disappointed with certain things. First of all, it doesn't support all video formats I have to play it via my D2h. TV especially mentioned supporting even hard disk but it doesn't work.
The pendrive works perfectly but the hard disk doesn't on TV.

What ext HDD do you have? It's likely it needs to be powered to work.

There is no way for all formats to be supported, what format are you trying to play?

@SasiKumar1 Does the HDD have an external power supply as these are the ones that are recommended. With regard to file formats there may well be issues with MKV files. Some information here https://www.leawo.org/entips/play-mkv-files-on-samsung-smart-tv-
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The hard disk doesn't have external power. it's plug-and-play type .
I'm able to connect by mobile Samsung Galaxy m31 to a hard disk via C-type OTG and it works perfectly

TV not providing enough power. Solution is to use a powered hub.
I have also read 2 TB is the largest supported HDD
