@CW1975: Sorry to hear that you're having trouble unlocking your tablet. Can you try pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds to see if you're able to restart the tablet in this manner? Alternatively, try heading to Find My Mobile via an internet browser, sign in with your Samsung account details and look for an option to remotely unlock the device from here. If the problem persists, reach out to our Help Desk at https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ where an advisor will be able to look into this further for you, and arrange any necessary repairs.

Hi, if you have set up "find my mobile" on your device, you should be able to remotely unlock it and change your pin to a new one.

My pin also stopped working, so now my Galaxy Tab A9+ that I purchased for work is a paperweight. I went to the web address above for "support/contact," but the troubleshooting list did not have an option for this issue, AND, I refuse to pay over $100.00 for a problem with Samsung's product.  The pin worked fine before the holiday break, I got back to the office, and now the pin is not working.  I tried the Locate My Device, but apparently, the location is off because the device cannot be found.  I am beyond frustrated.

@FrustratedConsumer: I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue with your Tab A9+. Did you perform an update, or install any third party apps prior to the issue occurring? Please note that the option to remotely unlock smartphones and tablets is no longer available via Find My Mobile, therefore if the issue persists following the steps provided in my initial response, then I do recommend arranging for an engineer to inspect the tablet for you. Proof of purchase will be required as your query relates to a security feature, and a charge will be applicable if the tablet is over 2 years old, however the engineer will be able to unlock the device for you. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you are based outside the UK/Ireland then please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and reach out via your preferred channel.
