Galaxy Tab A (2018, 10.5)

Hi, so can anyone help me in this endless nightmare? 

I have a: Galaxy Tab A (2018, 10.5)

and the problem is when the device go in standby by default i can't turn in on with the power button to unlock it, i've tried anything but nothing works. I do hear the notifications, the sound of charging (but it do not appear on the screen) so the tablet is actually up and working but the screen won't turn on, sometimes i do random screenshots or video lol. I've tried today to turn in off by night time and the next day (today) to turn in on but even like that it doesn't work, i don't know if someone had or have this problem, can someone give me a tip? Or tell me what the problem is? Cause the tablet is to be honest really good even at this days and it's kinda sad and a frustration and the same time. Thank you so much in advance.

Hi welcome to the samsung members community!

Press and hold the Volume down button and the Side button (or Power button) simultaneously until... the device turns off and turns back on.

But unfortunally i tried also this, and when i do that nothing happens i need to repeat this like 50000 times for the tablet to open, it's not this.. maybe i don't know something about the standby? Maybe my tablet do have a problem, cause the strange thing is if i block it through the power button i can unlock it without any problem but when the tablet go in standby it's literally over, nothing works

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

Can you use the Members App to run a diagnostic test to see if that highlights anything.

You can ask for help by sending Feedback directly to Samsung via your Members App. 

Ultimately a Factory Reset before considering letting a Samsung Service Centre having hands on.

Hi, thank you so much for the help. I've tried the Members App but nothing seems wrong, i will try the safe mode thats my only chance cause believe me i've tried literally any possible solution, the last one was to hand it over to a Samsung service centre to see if it's a display problem but i doubt it, cause under the display  locked everything works.. it takes screenshots, video + photos random but he doesn't want to unlock itself, the power button pressed like 4850358302 times but nothing. It's honestly a mistery and thats happen when it go in standby mode after a while that you don't touch it..

Did you solve this because I had a similar issue with my kids previous tablets fortunately I had them insured because I have special needs kids. So sent them in to be repaired and it turned out that it was a software issue not a hardware issue something was just glitching so they had to wipe them they also swapped out the screens for good measure
