Tab S6 Lite phone app won't open

All attempts to to rectify have failed- open in safe mode , checkfor updstes etc.

I have noticed that the app is not displayed in, "Default Apps" as on my phone. 

Does anyone have a fix for this?

when I renewed my o2 contract they changed my normal calls , text and data for just data and text , without asking me.

So I naturally thought it was a tablet error, but once I tried another SIM card in the tablet I was able to make calls using that other card.

Just to clarify I'm referring to calling and texting using other devices as mentioned by Pugs above.
My sim is in my phone. The phone app on my tablet will not load to allow the use of this feature

I definitely misunderstood the post then , I apologise 🙏

I just checked that feature and can't get it to work with linking to my iPhone .

My phone app on my galaxy tab opens ok though...

No problem, you could be onto something as I recently changed provider and the feature hasn't worked since.
