S8 ultra tablet link to screen

So just wondering if I can link my s8 ultra tablet to a monitor/screen.

Tried a docking station, hdmi from screen to dock, then dock has c port to s8 ultra, but not linking up, 

Any help, is it possible

I know that you can for sure with a USB-C to HDMI cable as I have done this before several times. What is the docking station you have? Do you have the product name so I can have a look at it online?

If it's a smart TV or monitor, you may be able to screen cast wireless. You can also use a USB C Hdmi connection if the monitor/TV has the input.

@Joeeye: Further to the above, the Tab S8 Ultra features DeX mode, which allows you to connect to external displays, while switching to a desktop-style interface for ease of use. You can either use the USB-C to HDMI connection, as suggested above, or connect wirelessly by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the Quick Panel, press and hold on 'DeX', select the display you want to connect to, then hit 'Start now'. For further guidance, please refer to pages 64-68 of the user manual by following the link below.
