Right clicking on the Samsung book 12 doesn't work

i have my samsung book for a good couple of years now and recently my right click on the mousebad doesn't want to work. to be more precise it works some time randomly but not when i need it. left click works just fine. so i wanted to know if this is a hard drive or software problem ? and what is the solution to it?
