Hi all!
I've been trying to find where to screen record on my company's Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and it just is not appearing anywhere. I've found this article:
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/record-and-capture-your-galaxy-phone-screen/
That says you can do it with OneUI 2 or later - as of this morning it's on 6.1! I got as far down as here:
If you can’t find Screen recorder on the Quick panel, follow the steps below to add it to the Quick panel.
Step 1. On the Quick panel, tap More (three vertical dots) and select Edit buttons. Otherwise, swipe left and tap the Plus icon.
To find that there simply is no "three vertical dots", only the settings icon that takes me to, well, Settings. Through a very convoluted route involving clicking on a little pencil, I have found where to add the additional buttons, but still, no screen recording option. I did add the Take Screenshot button hoping there was some way I could press + hold or something to make it go into recording mode, still to no avail.
Has screen recording just been overlooked on this model?
For further info I've checked with our CTO and it's not on any kind of MDM or anything else that would block that function.
