my galaxy tab10.2 ended up in a boot loop. the 'simple' solutions failed to solve it , so i decided to reinstall the firmware ( couple of oter problems whne it actually was working).

Odin and the firmware fails with this

Any way out of this or is the next step a hammer and the skip ?

Hi @medalto.

Did you manage to get this resolved? If not, are you anywhere near one of our Service Centres? Have a look here.

No.

Im 200 miles away from a service centre.

And the chat/help was no use at all.

@medalto: If you're unable to make it to a walk in location then please give Samsung a call directly on 0330 726 7864 where an advisor will be able to arrange a courier collection service for you.

anyway  - to the original post - anyone able to throw any light on the error message  and what I can do about it

And i suspect the kit is old enough now that there is some planned obsolescence , so it either it  cant be fixed or will cost too much.  or it might even be an unfixable hardware problem. ( how do i test that out ?)

( this conversation is becoming Apple-esque  in the Stalinist way  you try to keep control of  things)
