I'm looking at an Amazon UK Exclusive Samsung Galaxy A9 tablet, sold by Amazon themselves so it ought to be legitimate, the 128GB Graphite Tab A9, but the model number is unknown to Samsung site: F-MX110NZAEAMA
On Samsung site, this model number is not recognised. On Samsung, the 128GB Graphite Tab A9 is SM-X110NZAEEUB
My concerns stem from years of suspicion- why does Amazon have a unique model number unless the device is somehow altered? Is there enforced Amazon advertising, or special firmware? Or is it maybe a legacy generation device?
I'm hoping an expert on here can allay my concerns and explain the model number oddity please?

@Thoric: Selected Galaxy devices sold on Amazon have an exclusive 3 year warranty, as opposed to the standard 2 year warranty. The unique model number is simply to differentiate these devices on our system. I have double checked, and the F-MX110NZAEAMA model does show on our internal system, with a '3 YR WARRANTY' tag. I hope this helps.

Massive thanks!
As feedback, can I recommend that this somehow be supported via the Support section of your website. I searched for the model number myself and got no hits. That sets alarm bells ringing, especially for the uninitiated like me unaware of the negotiated extended warranties. Great news though, thank you for replying.
