can't seem to empty my e mails please help me with this

Which mail app? Is the account IMAP or POP3? Are you finding the mails are deleted, then reappear?

yes delete them then they re appear I'm on pop3

If you change to IMAP they will be deleted from everywhere. Wit POP3 you need to delete from your PC or they will reappear

no PC, this is my Ae20 phone, seems a problem since last update, why dont Samsung issue a fix patch! they know about this!!
