Please let us change icon layouts or icon sizes for folders.
OneUI 2 and 2.5 had 4 icons across, and it was a vertical free-scroll.
OneUI 3.0 is now 3 icons across, wasted space, icons too big, and a horizontal page scroll.
I can't find a way to change it, but much preferred the 4 icons across.
Can we have layout options like we do for home screen and app screen?

Fortunately this has only just rolled out to me, but why would you increase the blank space everywhere? Why is this not an option to control like the home screen grid itself, let the use have control. This is not apple, stop forcing us to be like apple users.
The quick panel layout needs less space and more icons as well. The 4 by 3 grid everywhere is hugely annoying and messes with setups based upon larger grid sizes.
The only change that seems to be useful is the first quick panel, that shows notifications and icons, has 6 again. it was down to 4 or 5.

Exactly, why change things for the sake of change and not letting users have control. Some people may need the larger icons and space, but why force everyone???
The alarm screen has changed as well. How is this a useful change. Add it functionality to let users control their phones to be useful for them.

Hi, I suggest you install the app Good Lock. It has a module Home Up that lets you customize folder grid size (and a load of other things besides). Thankfully Android is an open system that allows this!

This update messed up my whole layout, I hate it now in need to swipe 2 screens over to find apps that where on the first screen. Might need to go back to the Microsoft ui if this isn't fixed

I just received the newest update, and am now having this problem as well. Please give me the ability to change to the grid inside my folders again.
Thank you, Renay A. Mercer

Well, don't get me wrong, but a lot gets out of the requirement/development phase simply because timelines are often compressed to meet unrealistic deadlines. This particular issue is clearly a misstep (another one) by Samsung.

Samsung, FIX this.
You are slowly but surely giving customers, especially long time ones like myself. Back in the day when we first used your cell phones in 2002, Samsung had a nickname - "SamSUCK" and you deserved it then. Since then, you have made HUGE improvements, so much so you now have an entire family (here) using your products (include kids since they were younger than 10 years old). Unfortunately, Samsung seems to have plateaued recently with the Note fire issues, and the company heading in the wrong direction. THIS simple folder size/layout is just that, simple, yet it makes a difference to a lot of your users (counting myself and family). You need to follow Apple's lead in understanding your customers before changing things, otherwise who know, you may read a low point again, were new generation of Samsung users will re-discover your former nickname as well deserving.

Same as many others have stated, I joined Samsung Community expressly just to respond to this. 3 icons is just not enough. Why do this? I like to shrink my icons to fit more on a single screen to avoid swiping left/right to find the app I want, but this increases my swiping.
Please enable customization! So frustrating to have only 3 width, especially considering I have 5 wide on the home screen. I'd do 8 or 9 or 10 on the home screen and app folders if the option were there.

Yes! The ability to personalize is one of the major reasons as to why I prefer Android. I tried to go back to iPhone for the camera and returned it 48 hrs later due to lack of personalization.
