Folder size/layout

Please let us change icon layouts or icon sizes for folders.
OneUI 2 and 2.5 had 4 icons across, and it was a vertical free-scroll.

OneUI 3.0 is now 3 icons across, wasted space, icons too big, and a horizontal page scroll.

I can't find a way to change it, but much preferred the 4 icons across.

Can we have layout options like we do for home screen and app screen?

I'm sure many, like me, went with Android operating systems due to the user interface that is far superior to iOS. Apple has its place amongst the folks in the world that just use apps to achieve very simplistic objectives, and don't care so much about layouts and other user defined options. That's entirely the point isn't it. User defined parameters make Android much more attractive...at least until now. I just wish that developers would leave things, such as this (which again has no bearing on operation but everything with functionality) alone. So. Be a gem, and throw that option back in. Adding user options is great! It's about choice. Eliminating them is authoritaria'esque. Don't be that guy.

Add me too the list. This is the first cringe I have after upgrading to one UI 3.0, why the change? It wasn't broken, and this is definitely not a improvement

Please add me to this and let me know when this is resolved. Very frustrating!!!! Don't understand why this useless change was made.

I agree, used to be 4 per line, no idea why make such a arbitrary change that makes the ui worse. Now I have 2 pages in each folder, ui changes are supposed to be positive. 😔

I agree with this. I just got the update today and when I saw that my folders changed from a 4x4 to a 3x4 I kept clicking on the wrong thing because everything wasn't set up how I wanted it. It would be nice if there was a settings option to where we can also change the size of the folder. Some people may want 4x5 or they may want 3x3.  If there is an option to change this setting could anyone tell me. Like.i said I just got that update today.

Just took the android 11 update with One UI bundled in through verizon and all I have to say if WHAT THE F***?! Not only can we not load custom ROMs or have any semblance of control over our devices, now we are forced to take updates whilst in the middle of typing an email!!! The S10+ will be my last Samsung device. These monopolistic type business practices can bite my a**.

I am in COMPLETE agreement!!! Why shouldn't we be allowed to adjust the folder spacing like we can the home screen and app screen. this new 3 icon width is ridiculous and wastes so much space.

Agree 100% !! Please give us a layout option in the next system upgrade, this is a huge and very silly waste of space

I agree! I just got the new S21 Ultra and this is so frustrating. My S10+ having a 4x4 grid in folders and now I'm reduced to 3x4 which is VERY frustrating!

At least revert to 4x4 but honestly, just make it configurable so people can choose what they want
