Folder size/layout

Please let us change icon layouts or icon sizes for folders.
OneUI 2 and 2.5 had 4 icons across, and it was a vertical free-scroll.

OneUI 3.0 is now 3 icons across, wasted space, icons too big, and a horizontal page scroll.

I can't find a way to change it, but much preferred the 4 icons across.

Can we have layout options like we do for home screen and app screen?

Agree, i want to change back to 4 icons across..., 3 is waste of space... Samsung, dun do an Apple and make mandatory of design, we want our customization.

I support it wholeheartedly. Bring back the old folder layout or give users the option of selecting the layout for folders.

Yes I like that feature too! I have small folder icons now, they where much larger before and for me it's  better to see, so being able adjust size is a plus. Please add or reinstall code for that. Thanks

I just updated to UI 3 and totally, this is a huge bummer. Surprised this has been an issue with so many for months, but still not solved. Totally agree with some, not sure why this change was even being implemented if there were no complaints & if there was no community discussion if this change would be an improvement to user experience. 

Feels like a developer intentionally made this change before leaving the organisation

Just now I received the updated version of Home Up.
Using Good Lock and Home Up it is possible to change the layout of the folders! 🎉🎉

For countries without Good Lock, I have no idea if this option  will be part of the normal settings. Let's hope so.

How did you receive the updated Home Up? My version of Good Luck does not have it yet... Is it specific to the phone model?

I noticed I had no Home Up at all in Good Lock, so I cleared all data from Good Lock and removed the app. (all installed plug-ins are preserved! )

When I re-installed Good Lock, Home Up showed up again. When I installed this it seemed to be the updated version. Release date is today, 28 jan.

Finally good news!!!. With the last update of Home Up (part of Good Lock) I have been able to change folder screen. 

You can choose 3x3, 3x4, 4x4 (as it was before), 4x5, 5x5, .... up to 7x7.
So at the end we have got something that should be from the very beginning.

Nice! I had to uninstall & reinstall Good Lock but I see it now... It seems to be crashing but maybe a phone restart will help. Thanks for the help, maybe we can work around Samsung's issues
