Stacked Notifications - why?

The new iOS-style stacked notifications in OneUI 7 are absolutely awful and far less efficient than what we had before in OneUI 6.1. Previously, I could see multiple notifications from an app grouped together in one compact card. There was no need to expand the card unless I wanted to take action on one of the notifications. Now, I can only see the most recent notification for any given app and I have to expand the stack every time just to see the rest.

This feels like a huge, clunky step backwards so please Samsung at least give us a setting to let us switch back to Android-style listed notifications instead of these stacked ones. 

I was enjoying my S24 Ultra up until this change, but I must admit, I'm seriously thinking of heading back to Pixel now.

Yep. I found this thread after updating today. This new way of showing notifications is awful. Also, if a notification is under the fingerprint scanner it automatically opens that app 😖😖😖

I've also just updated and am appalled by the notification behaviour and the inability to revert back to the previous style that suited me perfectly.

Please please please give us the option to have notifications like before the update, it's aweful now!

Just updated yesterday and missed notifications today because of this change. Please give us the option to use the old notification style.

Please, I'm begging you, forward this to your development team. My phone has been useless to me since the newest update and I consider switching to a different phone brand every single day.

Same. If there was an easy way to convert back to one UI6 I'd do it right now. I've missed so many important notifications due to this new backwards way of stacking notifications.

How many users have to express "similar opinion" I find it hard to believe that this issue has not already been raised. This has made the use of my S24+ extremely less efficient. We should have at least been given the option of whether to change this or not.

100% agree! Stacked notifications are horrible! I'm missing emails all day long. Please provide a toggle!
