Stacked Notifications - why?

The new iOS-style stacked notifications in OneUI 7 are absolutely awful and far less efficient than what we had before in OneUI 6.1. Previously, I could see multiple notifications from an app grouped together in one compact card. There was no need to expand the card unless I wanted to take action on one of the notifications. Now, I can only see the most recent notification for any given app and I have to expand the stack every time just to see the rest.

This feels like a huge, clunky step backwards so please Samsung at least give us a setting to let us switch back to Android-style listed notifications instead of these stacked ones. 

I was enjoying my S24 Ultra up until this change, but I must admit, I'm seriously thinking of heading back to Pixel now.

I really don't like the stacked notifications and I have been missing notifications because I have swiped it thinking it's just one notification. The stacks look similar to a single notification. Either way I don't want a stack of notifications! I want my notifications individual. How they were before this iOS lookalike update.

Please send to your development team. I've never been compelled to even post here until now. The pull-down notifications are absolutely awful. We need One UI 6 notifications back in the worst way.

So many things that changed in 7 that makes it literally look like a step down, gemini corner swipe-gone. Bluetooth on the status bar-gone. Notification normalcy-gone. Lock screen bubble icons under clock not chunky notifications taking up the whole thing! And any random notification like weather acting like a elephant in the room!

All in all the notifications is definitely the worst so pls forward to the development to have toggels for these things which made Samsung Samsung! We didnt go to Samsung for an apple or a pixel we want the samsung! The customization the intuition the things we always had!

Agreed. Upgraded to OneUI 7 today and I HATE stacked notifications. What an awful update. Please revert back to how it was!!

Yes please take back something similar to the old grouped notifications style! I missed a lot of chat messages, because I thought it's only from one chat instead it's a lot more.

Look at this comparison, from a single chat to 3 chats, at a fast looking the "3" and the "arrow" are graphically  almost the same.

The new notification grouping is such a step in the wrong direction. Now I no longer can tell if I just have 1 email or 10 emails waiting for me. This new implementation is like Apple's implementation, which is has always been regarded as a bad way of showing notifications.

How many more users do you need to forward to the development team, I know of many people who would write if they need to but are they needed? Is is this enough for you to finally bring this ridiculousness to the "board"! Pls shed some light...
