Stacked Notifications - why?

The new iOS-style stacked notifications in OneUI 7 are absolutely awful and far less efficient than what we had before in OneUI 6.1. Previously, I could see multiple notifications from an app grouped together in one compact card. There was no need to expand the card unless I wanted to take action on one of the notifications. Now, I can only see the most recent notification for any given app and I have to expand the stack every time just to see the rest.

This feels like a huge, clunky step backwards so please Samsung at least give us a setting to let us switch back to Android-style listed notifications instead of these stacked ones. 

I was enjoying my S24 Ultra up until this change, but I must admit, I'm seriously thinking of heading back to Pixel now.

I updated to One UI 7 on my S22 Ultra 3 days ago and this is horrible. I have missed too many important notifications due to only 1 being visible from an app. Earlier if my father, mother, and brother had messaged me, I could see the last message from each. Now I only see 1 and if that 1 seems unimportant, I habitually swipe it away. Samsung please bring the old notifications back. One UI 7 is truly a horrible update which has only made mine and everyone who I know's life worse.

10000000000000000000% agreed! I literally made an account to co-sign this! Between this (making me miss important notifications "behind" spam ones I haven't gotten to delete yet) and not being able to have the Bluetooth icon on the status bar (both of which could EASILY be toggle settings), this is the 1st update I'm GENUINELY regretting having.

Please unmark this as solved. The "solution" is not relevant to the question asked. I've missed several messages now because of this mistake of Samsung's. Allow users to revert back to the functioning notification style.

This isn't a solution. Please unmark this as solved. It needs to be forwarded to Samsung so they know how many people have the exact same issue!

This is not where you report it to Samsung, there's a tab for giving feedback to Samsung.

I'm in full agreement here. These new stacked notifications are horrendous. So many times I have assumed that only one notification from the app came through, only to realise that there was more than one.

Where is the unstack option. This is another horrible feature in OneUi 7.0 and actually the worst of it all
