Stacked Notifications - why?

The new iOS-style stacked notifications in OneUI 7 are absolutely awful and far less efficient than what we had before in OneUI 6.1. Previously, I could see multiple notifications from an app grouped together in one compact card. There was no need to expand the card unless I wanted to take action on one of the notifications. Now, I can only see the most recent notification for any given app and I have to expand the stack every time just to see the rest.

This feels like a huge, clunky step backwards so please Samsung at least give us a setting to let us switch back to Android-style listed notifications instead of these stacked ones.

I was enjoying my S24 Ultra up until this change, but I must admit, I'm seriously thinking of heading back to Pixel now.

Please revert the stacked notifications look to the way it was in OneUI, as seen in the last post by SpaceGooner. I

had missed an important notification because I thought there was only one notification. It actually was few notifications and just the latest one was not important.

I'm having much the same trouble with unstacking and a VARIETY of other settings all throughout my phone which changed overnight, right before I got on a plane on both my phone and tablet.  The full settings menu is FILLED with options already, but I now no longer seem able to find even the whiff of a suggestion of WHERE the new settings now are.  This is, hands down, the WORST update I've ever received from Samsung, and I've been loyal to them for years because of their stylus, etc.  I basically woke up to a totally different phone.  It took almost 10 minutes at the airport to figure out simple things like how to put my phone on vibrate and simply turn it off.  Notifications DON'T show on my lock screen anymore, and yes, I've done EVERYTHING suggested.  The stacked notifications are deeply problematic and simply the least important in a LONG LINE of things I'm incredibly dissatisfied with in the new update which I was NOT warned about and literally had me trying to figure out how to turn off ALL future updates from Samsung.   I'm incredibly upset that a year and half worth of custom settings disappeared overnight and the new display resembles an iPhone.  I LOATHE iPhone.  Make it stop!!!!!!!!

The notifications screen is dreadful now. You should 100% send this to your team.

I agree. This change occurred as soon as my OneUI was updated from 6 to 7. This is a terrible change and I have missed many messages because I simply just am unaware that they are there since you now much tap the stack to even see what another message says. Please give us an option to toggle this between the old and new style.

Agreed, please forward on. This and not showing Bluetooth by default in the status bar, and the "now bar" are changes that could easily become toggleable options. Samsung is supposed to be about designing your phone exactly the way you want, not a minimalist clone of apple

Oh yeah don't get me started on the Now bar. This is by far the worst changes and update has brought to my phone. I normally am excited for new updates and don't want to be negative. But definitely some baffling decisions

Please let the development team know that the stacking is really affecting my user experience. I have missed several important notifications because I now have to tap the notifications to expand instead of just glancing at all current notifications.

Really wish I could revert to one UI 6.
