OK, so samsung announce a price drop on Buds3 Pro and I order a pair with earliest delivery being 4th Oct.....
I'm out on 4th so opt for a specified delivery date of 4th with DPD
I even organise my day on 5th to ensure I'm going to be at home as delivery requires a PIN code.

Today I get alert from Samsung & DPD to advise my order will arrive today, 2nd and I must be home to recieve it!

What happened to the 5th? What happened to customer specifying a date? What happened to samsung requiring a delivery date confirmed in the order confirmation?

OK it's only a small issue and I happen to be home today but it means 5th is now wasted thanks to samsung doing what they want and not what the customer required!

Rant over but ordering from Samsung continues to become more of a challenge on every order!

Hi.

As a work around. Most UK post offices now support dpd collections.
See if you can divert to a local post office.

Samsung may not necessarily be able to control third party companies even if they have a contract with them from deliveries.

As mentioned it can a little inconvenient.

Lucky for you. You are home. And better to have an item early then get delayed or not delivered at all.

You are right about the post offices except clearly samsung have had issues with theft and all deliveries (invl DPD) require a pin code to recieve parcel and can't be diverted even to a neighbour......
Normal DPD deliveries can but not samsung
A recent low cost order (<£20) needed a punch code.
