Samsung Customer Service - SHAMBLES!

I have invested in the Samsung eco system and back in early April I ordered a galaxy ring (in fact my wife wanted it for my birthday gift)
I recieved the sizing kit a few days later and responded immediately only to get advice that delivery would be 09 May, almost one month ahead.
Ok, I patiently wait past my birthday and then a week ago I see status changed to 'preparing despatch'
That status remains and is same today.
So if delivery is tomorrow, 9th, then when will the ring be despatched?
I contacted Samsung support and after 35 mins going around in circles the person I spoke to comes up with 'wait for tomorrow, I cannot see any despatch showing so called back after 9th'
What a great support.....
So now I have to wait until 10th b4 calling when nothing has arrived (how could it if it's still not been despatched) - 10th being the weekend so no one will be able to assist until Monday 12th
And the best part from this support person was when she suggested I contact dpd, samsungs courier, and ask them where my order is! Seriously?
Appalling service, appalling standard of customer support and complete contempt by Samsung for customer loyalty. 
And please b4 the community experts reply saying to be patient, I have been patient for a month.
My advice going forward to others is seriously consider b4 buying from Samsung direct as you will have no idea when or even if your order would arrive.

Your best thing is to download the DPD app and pop your details in
Often you will know by the app before the status is updated
It can still be shipped overnight
Also the app you will be able to track the drivers progress if you need to go out
Unfortunately customer support will really only have the same details as you have
So it's just a matter of waiting

Sorry to hear, was it a UK order?

Usually launch items are a drama as its Samsung to DPD process i think. On mine I felt the DPD tracking was way to preemptive, when I chased down DPD they were like "no that means we have created a label and awaiting the shipment".

That said yours is the Ring which has been out for a while.
I'm a simple type, the when I order and I pick a date, I expect delivery on that date, ideally an evening before DPD saying delivery tomorrow and then before 11AM on the delivery day the time of delivery.

I already have the dpd app having been dumb enough to buy a large number of mobiles, watches and other accessories.....
As for what customer support can see, what's the point in having a customer service number which is linked to chasing the order when they have no access to anything else than I have! After many years in corporate roles across the globe I would have been ashamed if my clients were faced with the farce that Samsung think is acceptable
But thanks for the suggestion.....
