S25 ultra stolen from my parcel by DPD

Hi guys 

I’m just so disappointed as I preordered a Samsung s25 ultra on the 25th Jan 2025 and despite it being delayed I didn’t even receive the item when it was supposed to be deliver to me on 22nd Feb 2025. My parcel was tampered with by the pathetic DPD driver. He even invaded my privacy by shoving his head through my window! I was so angry and shocked I told him come to my front door but he wouldn’t listen instead he was in a rush. Secondly He took a photo of my face without my permission and didn’t take a photo of theo tampered side he just passed on the clear side so that he wouldn’t get screwed. I’m so angry as I wanted to play around with my new phone but Samsung are taking the mick as they claimed they will be back in touch within 48 hours and no one doesn’t bother. Any advice on what I can do please.

I'm sorry to hear this. DPD hires self-employed people. You should be able to see the driver's name and photo on the delivery; report this immediately and file a complaint with DPD. Take any necessary legal action.

In terms of Samsung support, keep a record of these events and ticket numbers. They will help you; unfortunately, with DPD theft, a replacement may take some time. In addition to this, in Samsung Members—your private message area—send your information to @Sam_UK and the team. I'm sure they will try to help.

Thanks for replying back to me I appreciate it. I did raise this with DPD they removed my image and apparently spoke with the driver. They then claimed they don’t use clear tape when re-taping parcels, and that “the driver knows that”. If he knew how to do his job properly he wouldn’t have taken my photo and shoved his head through my window. Also everytime I speak to DPD they say Samsung hasn’t raised any investigation. Samsung take the mick. I just feel like crying now.

It may be worth escalating this with DPD if you are unhappy with the results in terms of the driver.

In terms of them mentioning Samsung—yes. You have contacted Samsung directly already about the situation and requested an investigation; be sure to follow up. Also, contact the person I suggested in my initial reply. Sadly, yes, it may take some time for this investigation; have a look at the forums as many others have experienced this.
