S23 Ultra delivery delay

Pretty much frustrated with Samsung.com. I ordered a S23 Ultra in cream colour that was supposed to be delivered on the 23rd. I received an email on the 22nd at 8.01pm saying it will be delayed till 29th. Today, I got another email at 9.06pm saying it will now be delivered on the 5th of October. I am seriously considering giving up and cancelling my order as I cannot afford to get yet another day off work to wait for a delivery that gets delayed one day before it is supposed to arrive - aint happening any time soon it seems. I am wondering if on the 4th I'd get an email at 10.11pm with yet another week ahead delay on an order that was supposed to be already here. I have reached to CS and was told 'their website had run into some issues that was delaying my delivery', which now that I think about sounds as complete BS. Should have opted to collect from Samsung KX if I'd known delays are so bad (sadly I don't think there is an option for changing that unless I cancel the current order and place another one -.-). I won't be ordering from the e shop again. This will probably be a lesson learned.

I will try, but I'm this close to cancelling it, believe me. I'd try and see if there are any 'delays' when you are supposed to collect from Samsung KX and if there aren't, I'd just go ahead and cancel the existing order and place another one for collection.

I placed an order on September 20th. Please wait until October 8th. If the order is delayed, you can choose to cancel it.

I'd probably cancel it this evening and go for collection on Wednesday. I'm sick of this BS.

This is literally what's happening to me as well, same product ordered, same dates, same delays. I spoke to an "agent" on Livechat last night - absolutely no chance that was an actual person - who assured me my phone would definitely be delivered today. NOT. They sent coupons to get money off my "next purchase" on the estore - bold of them to assume there's gonna be a next purchase. This is the first ever product I buy from samsung and I'm seriously considering just cancelling the order and buying a phone elsewhere. I don't have a backup phone and this is causing issues with my work too now. They only give us vague reasons for the delay and don't bother updating the order tracker. Very embarrassing on Samsung's part, considering the ludicrous prices of their products. Clearly this issue has been ongoing for a while, and knowing this they are still taking orders and waiting until the set delivery day to say: "Whoopsie, delivery delayed, this was so unforeseen and so beyond our control, we really didn't see this coming".

Indeed. I'm contemplating the same thing. Will probably sleep on it tonight and decide tomorrow, cuz I cannot really afford taking a day off some day next week for a delivery that may not arrive. Will call them tomorrow.
