Ordering A Samsung S24 Ultra With Samsung Care+ Sucks!

Customer Testimonial

I am so frustrated after trying for many hour and nearly a week to get Samsung Care added to my new Samsung S24 Ultra.  I purchaesd it at the time I ordered but a website glutched caused it to be taken off of my order.

My only options now seem to be.  Disputing charges, filing STATE & FEDERAL Consumer complaints, positing horrific customer testamonies, and hiring an attorney.  Samsung Suck!  I AM very dissatisfied.

MY BASIS FOR TAKING GOVERNMENT ACTION AGAINST SAMSUNG AND DISPUTING THE CHARGES WILL BE THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I ORDERED.

I ORDERED AN S224 ULTRA WITH SAMSUNG CARE+ LOSS. I RECEIVED THE PHONE BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD THE SAMSUNG CARE AFTER THE FACT.

A WEBSITE GLITCH TOOK SAMSUNG CARE+ OFF OF THE ORDER. I DID NOT.

I WILL TAKE ACTION IF NOT RESOLVED BY TOMORROW!

TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOYSLY SAMSUNG!

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you get resolution BUT:

1. This is the UK / EU forum, you'll be better reaching out to the US Forum

2. This is a Customer to Customer Forum, Samsung do not comment or act in relation to customer specific complaints here.

So if you are expecting a response from Samsung, it won't come from here.

I am not seek resolution with this post.  I am seeking resolution via other means.  I am simply posting my testimonial to the web so that it is searchable to the public.  I am not finished trying to get this matter resolved.

Not sure within the US, but in the UK is it definately possible to add Care + after the purchase.

I actually did this for my phone. 2 months after purchase I subscribed and pay monthly for care+

Update: in the US you should be able to add insurance after purchase

Do you really think this warrants your actions against Samsung ! This seems a real over reaction on your behalf.

I would suggest that you look into adding care + from the website above and drop your intentions.

As @Piper123 says, this is a UK and Europe site. There is a US forums as well.

I hope you make the right choices to resolve this.

My actions are warranted.  Over 5 days and over 10 hours on the phone to no avail.

Once a phone is delivered without samsung care, there is no way to add it back to the original order, even when it's samsung's fault as in my case.

The alternative is to purchae samsung care outside of the order.  Well, since the phone was already delivered, you now must submit 10 pics of the phone and IMEI to AI to evaluate that it is not damaged.  AI rejected my photos for clarity though they were clear to me.  So I had to submit a video of the same.  I submitted the video 3 times.  It was rejected due to file size.  Google drive links are not accepted.  So, I finally submitted acceptable sized video, but only after having to purchase software to reduce the size.  Still I don't know if my Samsung Care will be authenticated.   ...5 days over 10 hours, mainly on hold.  I DID NOT GET WHAT I ORIGINALLY ORDERED, AN S24 ULTRA + INSURANCE.  THIS IS CONSIDERED A BREACH OF CONTRACT

Ok clearly you are Mr Angry about this situation. I am not defending samsung by any means but you are venting your frustration in the wrong place.

I think if you were to calm down a bit and take a deep breath, you could resolve this issue by starting the insurance separately and sorting out your main problem.

Maybe you could contact the insurance provider (Assurant in the UK) and discuss the rejected photos or videos.

If you decide to pursue the problem further with a class action, then good luck taking on a large corporation such as Samsung.

Perhaps this frustration is better focused at the US forums.

The problem is not with adding Samsung Care after the order.  I have done that.  But the process is very different and frustrating.  After you add it you must send pics, videos, and install knox guard to be fully covered.  Often AI receives these requests and rejects them. Then it is impossible to speak to a human to resolve matters.  After enrollment you receive a system generated email that states that samsung care will be canceled if the submitted video and pics do not meet their requirements.  Finally you meet their requirements on the pics and videos but cannot install knox guard.  Without knox guard your samsung care will also be auto canceled.  I don't think you understand how it works here.  When you purchase a phone with care+ it is new therefore no verification of condition is necessary.  When you purchase it after the order is shipped, you must go through this excruciating routine.  If not in the UK, it may be coming soon.
