New pre-orders shipping earlier than orders already placed?

So I pre-ordered the S22 Ultra 256GB in Phantom White on Feb 14 and I'm perfectly fine with my March 14 delivery date.

However, if someone was to pre-order the exact same model today, it would arrive on March 7, a week earlier.

Anyone else experienced this? Am I being a noob here or is this odd?

I preordered mine on the 9th and it came on the 21st, so that does seem strange

Hmm, so those of you that ordered and received the device, did your order page update to show the device was being prepared, shipped etc. or did it stay as “delivers from the *date*”?

Mine turned up yesterday. Should have been on Monday but DPD messed it up. It may depend on the version you ordered, colour, memory, etc.
