DPD Lost S24 Ultra

Noticing how many others are currently suffering with DPD deliveries thought I would share my experience so far.

Pre ordered S24 Ultra with a delivery date of 19th Feb

Arrives 2 weeks earlier than this and I receive a delivery notification the same day as delivery so missed this delivery

The phone shows as Returned to Samsung on DPD tracking the next morning (despite Samsung FAQ saying this happens after 3 delivery attempts)

The phone shows as delivered on the Samsung website..

I'll be getting in touch with both tomorrow morning and will update this thread...

I thought DPD were supposed to email or txt you prior to delivery to let you know they're on the way. At least that's how it's always been with my deliveries.

I pre-ordered the S24U with a requested delivery date of 19 Feb. Then had a notification day of the delivery 7th Feb which I missed, and then tracking shows returned to Samsung the next morning. Pretty frustrating

Did you have the DPD app? If so it's a bit naughty of them not to give you prior warning. Hope you get it sorted quickly.

Unfortunately not ahead of the delivery, I had assumed the emails and texting service would be sufficient but apparently not! Thanks man, I'll let you know how it goes

DPD takes a photo when delivered, worth checking if they have a photo showing where it was delivered?

So right at this moment dpd hasn't " lost " the phone @SavageOwl

More that because they couldn't deliver due to no-one being in the phone is back in Samsung and dpd's delivery system. 

Do let us know how you get on.

DPD say its been sent back to Samsung but Samsung website shows it as delivered

My question is why the Samsung system thinks it has been delivered to me when it has not and why DPD only attempted a single delivery with no calling card or prompt left allowing me to reschedule - according to Samsungs website a return to Samsung initiates the refund process (bearing in mind I have already unboxed and heavily used the bundle items I imagine working out a refund is going to be messy) but will do!
