Suggestion for Android Navigation Gesture Animation

I am writing to suggest an enhancement to the "back" gesture animation on Android devices, specifically to make it more visually intuitive and fluid, similar to the experience on iOS. Currently, when using the swipe-from-edge gesture to go back, the action is functional, but it lacks the visual feedback that shows the previous page appearing "underneath" the current one as it slides away. This type of animation, where the previous screen is revealed as if it were stacked behind the current one, significantly enhances the feeling of navigation and makes the user experience more seamless and predictable. Implementing a visual animation for the "back" gesture that mimics the iOS approach – where the outgoing screen appears to "push" the new/previous screen into view from behind – would greatly improve the perceived fluidity and user experience on Android devices. This would contribute to a more intuitive and premium feel when navigating through apps and system screens. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
