I have 3 XCover 5 phones, I upgraded the OS of the two from Android 13/UI5.1 to Android 14/UI6.0 the other day and both of them can no longer take sharp photos nor able to scan bar/QR codes using the back camera. XCover 5 is used by many businesses to scan barcodes in warehouses, hospitals, groceries, train/bus tickets, etc. I would have thought that the team who is responsible for the Android 14/UI6.0 upgrade has tested the camera because this is the most widely used by the people who used them in their working environment. Please release the fix for this issue as soon as possible. Your business customers will really lose confidence on your product if this is not fixed quickly.

I can confirm having the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 Enterprise after updating to the latest Android 14 and UI 6.0. Good to hear that it is a software issue and not a hardware defect, that is really calming! I hope that there will be a fix for this issue - the back camera lens not focusing anymore - soon.

I appreciate your confidence, really. But I haven't seen an official post regarding this. I reinstalled Android 13 via Odin, and now I don't see Android 14 available when checking for updates (maybe they pulled the update until they have a fix, not sure). I certainly can't wait whatever time is gonna take them to fix the camera....I have 3 cats my dude....pictures need taken :smiling-face:

I sent bug report via Samsung Members app more than week ago and today I received message that the problem has been fixed and I should upgrade the software (message did not specify which software) to the newest version.

At least there's nothing available via the main software upgrade in phone settings or Samsung Galaxy Store, and camera app says the newest version is already installed. 🤔

I contacted technical support in Denmark, but they hadn't heard of the issue either. They asked me to perform an analysis via the Members app and send the error report, which I did. After three days, they, or their robot, responded claiming the issue was fixed and asked me to install the updated software. This update doesn't exist.

I have received a similar note from Samsung, stating that the fix is coming soon and to watch notifications or check updates

It's not out yet but they say it will be soon.

Hi together

According to my information it is planned to release the update on the 17th of this month if all tests are positive.
