Hi,
I have an s8 running 7.0 software but require to upgrade to 8.0 or above for a partuclar work email app to work .
When I try software update through the phone and also smart switch via pc it informs me my phone is up to date (which it isnt). I can also confirm my phone is not rooted.
Anyone experienced this or have and suggestions? thanks

May I ask was the phone imported from another country and now being used in another country ?
I ask as this is usually the case when updates are not happening.
The other reason is that the phone was supplied as part of a mobile phone contract and as such is branded thus reliant on the network it's on to usually test the software before allowing Samsung to push it out.
