For the past 2 or so weeks my S20 has started beeping randomly throughout the day. It sounds like a notification however the sound is different and there is no notification
Others have similar issues, some of whom say that it was NFC etc however those fixes haven't worked.
After doing some more looking into the issue on my phone I believe I found the cause but I don't know how to fix it.
It seems every time the phone beeps the samsung email app has used the contact permission in the background. I of course could disable the permission and see what happens but I checked other phones and the email app does the same thing there, just doesn't send the beeping noise. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
