@Rutti: To reset your email account password please visit your providers home page via your internet browser and look for an option such as 'Forgot Your Password', usually located below the sign-in window. Once you have completed the necessary steps to recover your password, please complete the following steps on your device.
- Settings > Accounts and Backup > Accounts > Email > Remove Account
- Settings > Accounts and Backup > Accounts > Add Account > Email > Register the account.
If the problem persists then check that the phone's Software and the Email app is up to date. Then, go to Settings > Apps > Email > Storage > Clear cache / data and restart the phone.
