Notifications Broken After Update

After updating my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, the notifications haven't been working correctly. The problem is that when an app has multiple notifications (ex. 2+ emails, 2+ text messages, etc.), the text doesn't appear for the notification. It'll show which app it is for, but the space where the text normally is, simply is white. I am on Android version 9.0

Having the same or similar problem. I have tried literally everything to solve it, but nothing seems to work.

I have an S8 and just updated two days ago. The update seems to be what caused the problem.

Hey! New member to the community here. Try changing your display to night mode and vice versa.
