my samsung S7 wont switch but can i transfer my photos/videos on to a usb/laptop??

hi everyone, i would be grateful if you can help me, my samsung won't swtich on but i wanted to know is there a way i can transfer my photos/videos onto a laptop/usb. many thanks

@begum_31: Unfortunately you will need access to the screen of your Galaxy S7 in order to create an external backup. What I'd suggest is checking Google Photos on your home computer via the link below, as a backup may have been automatically created here.

In the meantime, try connecting the phone to your charger for a few minutes, then press the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds to see if you're able to boot the device up in this manner. If you're able to regain access to the phone then please install Smart Switch on your laptop, connect your phone via USB and navigate to the Backup tab.

thank you for your reply, i hav tried pressing the the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds, its let me charge my phone, let me switch my phone on as go as far as the samsung screen, but has died again.
