Gesture's option gone from settings...grayed out in notification bar.

Hi, newbie here so forgive any errors please 🙏 I've had my trusty galaxy m8 since 2017😲😲 I have an s21 5g for Xmas but want to keep this as a backup ( had HTC one M8 as a backup phone but it's stuck on start screen 🤯🤯 

Can anyone help me get my gesture option's back... running Android 9.0.

@Hutchie: I'm not entirely sure which gestures you're referring to. For Swipe Gestures, head to Settings > Display > Navigation Bar > Swipe Gestures. For other Gesture options, head to Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures, or select One Handed Mode > On > Gesture.
