Yesterday I updated my Samsung m33 5G to 6.1 . After update I am not able to charge phone in fast charging mode, while it gets charge with fast charging mode off but is slow.

It was not the problem before update. I also saw people with similar problem in community post

Can your Samsung team please release better patch version for us.

Ur missing the point in that it doesn't charge at all when switched on, until it is restarted, fast charging enabled should work when turned on like every other phone. I get it charges faster when off, but most of us need to be able to charge it when on as well. Samsung needs to sort out the update that caused this

I am using a Samsung S22, and after upgrading to OneUI 6.1, the phone has lost the super-fast charging and fast charging features. Now, it charges quite slowly. Thank you.

I think i have the solution!!

Go to apps > show system apps > device health services

Delete the cache and also the data. While you are at it. Delete also data and cache of usb, device health.

Restart your phone and you should have fast charging and also super fast charging.

Struggled with this issue for over a year on my Galaxy S22.

It does not fix it, you did not log in. Until you input the pass code it charges with PPS, yes. 45 W. But after you are logged in it is over.

 33 minutes until full!

Yayayayay! Finally January 2025 update for my Galaxy S24 Ultra fixed 45 W charging. In fact I am surprised to find out it can take 29 W out of newest GaN charger 2510 (yes, I have two GaN charger and one legacy charger, left one is 25 W GaN, then two 45 W chargers). All the photo proof:

I started having this problem yesterday on my Galaxy Tab S9+. I guess the update installed and I hadn't noticed so I hadn't rebooted until yesterday. Before the reboot I could use any cable any charger and any USB OTG device. External monitor, USB drive, AR glasses and they all worked. Now only a regular charger with a USB A - C cable works. I can't get fast charge or super fast charge, and no OTG.

My Samsung S23 Ultra is doing similar things, but not the charging issue, I can get fast and super fast. I have AR glasses that are designed to work with the S23, and they were working, now nothing. but I can't connect any OTG to the USB either.

My son just updated is S23 FE and it is still working in all aspects.

Like everyone else I have been going crazy thinking it was me. I tested 5 chargers, 4 outlets and 10 cables. And before you ask, I have at least 15 charging blocks and I carry a very large supply of spare cables that are in every category. Brand new A - C, Brand new C - C, 65w, 100w, 240w, and absolutely nothing is working on the tablet.

To make me feel worse, I was changing the battery in ,y Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 and somehow the system no longer works. The power button overheats enough to burn skin in moments. probably going to need a new motherboard and definitely a new battery. Needless to say, I have been feeling very frustrated because I am a student halfway through my final semester of a software development program and now no longer have a computer and my tablet has just been rendered effectively useless.

Thanks Samsung
