My Galaxy S6 recently bricked itself. Turned itself off for no apparent reason with a fully charged battery.

Tried every conceivable sequence of button pushing and eventually gave up. Went to my suppliers high street shop. They couldn't help.

Left it plugged in and now it's doing this (see photo) Been like this now for over 3 hours. I have tried various button combinations with no luck and  it returns to this screen.

Details in top left say :-

FACTORY MODE

Product name:SM-G920F

Current Binary: Samsung Official

System Status: Official

Reactivation Lock : Off

Secure Download : Enabled

Knox Warranty : Void : 0 (0x0000)

AP SWREV:  B:6  K:2  S:2

Does anyone have any idea what it's doing ?  20240107_172919.jpg

That's a very old 📱 phone ! I doubt it will respond with such old software and obsolete by now.

A Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store maybe able to help but may charge.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
