I just do not understand, my mother had an S23 FE and her battery was poor she always needed to be by the charger then she bought a iPhone 16 Pro Max and setup her phones then she gave me her S23 FE because my Huawei P30 Lite was old and has no updates (Android 9) and when I transferred my date to the S23 FE from the P30 Lite the battery is awesome now it lasts me all day.

Is it just have less photos, battery settings or apps, (My Mother has 7 pages of apps)

Sometimes it depends on the way data is transferred and also occasionally a rogue app can cause more battery drain than it should.

If the battery doesnt perform as well as expected it is always worth checking the battery settings to see what may have been causing the issues. Example below of the battery during today for me.

For your use case perhaps you have a good set of apps that are not causing the drain your mum was seeing.

It's also very dependent on what the user actually uses the phone for. There's a lot of variation in how we setup our phones as well as how we use them. Defining "good" or "bad" battery life, is more a personal case scenario and you won't find any simple universal answer. For me, most Samsung Ultra phones have had "good" battery life, however it really depends on what activities I'm talking about here. For my usual day to day usage like media consumption, they've all been good.
