A lot is made out from the battery tech in Samsung phones and the supposed slow charging rates.
Samsung typically play it safer than some. A lot of this is due to the note 7 issues many years ago, and I can understand why.
I am sure silicon carbide solid state battery tech will become a new standard in mobiles, but at the moment is still a bit unknown and especially during the longer term.
Just to mention that battery charging rates based upon the wattage of the charging supported is not linear. By this I mean that a 45 watt charger does NOT mean it will be twice as slow as a 90W charger !
Taking the S25 ultra for an example... at 45 watt charging, it takes around 1hr to charge from 20% to 100%.
However the fastest Chinese phones supporting 90 or 100 watt still take some 40+ minutes.
Is it a real world crisis if a user has to wait another 15 minutes for a full charge ? Why is everyone in such a rush these days ?
Especially as the phone (s25 ultra) lasts for one and half to two days upon a single charge.
For me... this whole charging speeds argument against the Chinese phones is a 'moot' point.
