Have being using samsungs8 s8 plus. There was no issue for year but after downloading a video phone is heating. This mainly happens when phone is restart even while browsing. Tried factory reset still facing same issue. I even tried using phone in safe mode and deleting all third party apps but when I restart the phone it heats. When I started phone in recovery mode it's giving error 'fail to open recovery_cause'. Not sure what it means. Is anyone facing same issue or any suggestions?

Downloading a video shouldn't be causing the phone to heat up.

 

Is it uncomfortable to hold ?

 

As your concerned I'd suggest to use a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre to have a diagnostic test on the phone @S8Plus4
