Samsung S20+ 5g Phone stuck on "phone is starting" screen

I took a photo on my phone after I powered it on and then it randomly restarted, I tried accessing my phone but then it ends up being stuck on that screen and apparently the backup setup Wizard failed, I tried restarting my phone multiple times, tried to factory reset it but it pops up with the rotating circle for a split second and doesn't factory reset, I tried to delete some apps and restart my phone, but still nothing, I can't call the Samsung helpline because it is midnight and I'm just really paranoid.

Below is what seems to be causing the problem

https://youtu.be/ZPSWEL6-gWg try that. I myself have never done this as usually phones have some sort of recovery mode or working android. I'm using guides and other things I find on how to get the phone into the right mode.

That video shows 2 ways of getting into it.

Though out of interest, did safe mode get stuck on phone is starting or did it actually start?

Are you able to enter the recovery menu? Shut down, volume up and power button, release when samsung logo appears.

Try and reset it with that. Since you've tried a reset already, guessing keeping data isn't a concern.

From what you've said and what pdp is. It looks like the software has just borked in some strange way. There is an ultimate fix but it's a little complicated so try that reset first

I did that and it did a vibration but it still bought me to the lock screen and I still have the same problem unfortunately

Since seemingly you have no options besides going to a samsung store.

Ok, going to try and re-flash android to the device using smart switch in a pc. This will wipe EVERYTHING

Hopefully you have a pc. Install smart switch to it.

Hold both volume buttons, connect the phone to the pc via USB, power on device. Hopefully you get a large warning screen. Do what it says, hopefully you get to a point where you can enter download mode. Enter download mode.

Open smart switch on your pc, top right 3 dots, press emergency software recovery, your device should appear. Do what it says, smart switch should send your phone a fresh copy of all the files it needs. As if it were at the factory being programmed again

Hope it works. I've never had anyone need to do this yet but it should be the "this fixes everything" sorta solution.

With no recovery menu and not being able to get into android. I can't think of anything else that can be done besides going to a store to have it looked at if this fails too

Welp, hopefully that vid gets you into download mode. Then whatever is up with the software can be re-written

Ah, connect your phone to your pc. Open smart switch on your pc, 3 dots top right, press emergency software recovery. Follow what it says and it will "upload" android onto the device. The device is waiting to "download" it from your pc.

This wipes everything and replaces everything with brand new hopefully working files
