Samsung Internet Dark Mode not clearing on S20

Hi, my Samsung internet browser is in dark mode.  My samsung phone is in light mode. 

I want my browser to revert to light mode but it won't change.

Samsung internet browser > Settings > Webpage view and scrolling > Dark mode = Match phone setting

When I try to change this setting I can't - the darkmode tab has no "switch button" to change and no link available on the text - its greyed out.  The other lines on this menu are in white and I can change them?

I've tried re-switching my phone settings to dark mode then back to light mode, but it has no effect on the internet browser.  

Can anyone advise if I've missed a menu or a setting that I can use to revert my internet browser to light mode?

I tried Apps>app settings>internet browser  but when I select settings it reverts me to the main samsung internet settings page.

Try clearing the Samsungs Internet cache. Settings > Apps > Samsung Internet > storage > clear cache at the bottom. Restart your device. If this doesn't work you could try clearing the data for samsung Internet, but this will clear all data for the Internet app. Meaning you would lose everything that's been stored for that app.

Had this suddenly happen with mine. Go into Samsung internet app. Click 3 lines bottom right. Go into settings and turn off high contrast mode using toggle. Back to normal when I did that.
