S21 notifications sounds not working

Hi, all of a sudden my S21 is not making a sound when I receive text, email etc. I've got the sound turned up and when you try to change the notification sound it makes a sound but it doesn't work as an alert. I've done a hard and soft reset but it's still not working.

Can anyone please help!

I have this problem, had it a few days now, but OK when connect to my van or my Bluetooth speaker

I was having the same issue. Not hearing texts come in unless I had my headphones in.....BUT I JUST FIXED IT!

(1) Go to SETTINGS
(2) Go to Sounds & Vibrartions
(3) Go to VOLUME
(4) My NOTIFICATIONS volume was all the way down. When I plugged my headphones on, the volume went to 75%. I unplugged the headphones, and adjusted the volume of notifications to 75%.

Hi all. I just had the same problem. Turned phone off waited few mins back on. Working fine 😊

I'm having the same problem. I am not on Do Not Disturb, my notification volume is at 100%, my regular phone volume is at 100%, my volume in the sound settings is at 100%. I have tried playing with these a few times and resetting the phone but I still have no sound for notifications. I do have sound for calls. Any other suggestions on what I can do?

So volume is separated into 4 different controls. System, ringtone, notifications, and media. It sounds like you have done this but I will paste the below instructions.

Please make sure you have no headphones plugged into the phone or connected via Bluetooth 

(1) Go to SETTINGS
(2) Go to Sounds & Vibrartions
(3) Go to VOLUME

Hi, an android update changed settings to my phone . Go to the settings  Sounds & Vibrartions and turn on again, look at the answers below.  Try to update the phone if there is new version.
