So I try to turn on my wifi and it will go Grey and load but refuse to turn on. So I have tried several things to fix it and only restarting it "helps" but like 30 seconds after I turn it on and/or connect to a network my phone turns it off and won't allow me to turn it back on. I have been a loyal Samsung customer but I'm starting to think your forced system updates are shutting down parts of my system so I'm forced to buy a new one.

Hi @Dougherty Firstly try the following:
Go to Settings -Connections --Wi-Fi -Tap the Menu 3 dots on the top right - Intelligent Wi-Fi - Turn Wi-Fi on/off automatically, and toggle this option off. Tap the back button, then tap the cog to the right of your current Wi-Fi connection - Auto-Reconnect, ensure that this is toggled on.
If that makes no difference a few suggestions:
Go to Settings- Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog symbol to the right of your router - Forget . This is the bottom right on the list. Toggle your Wi-Fi off and on again - Select your router from the list of available connections, and run through all the connection steps.
Thereafter go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog next to your router - view More, select the MAC Address Type and set this to Phone MAC. If the issue persists, I would suggest pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, the reason being that this will refresh the software and address any issues that might be causing problems. An idea also to reboot the router if the issue not solved.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Same issue here after the last update. Samsung basically bricked my phone for wifi use. I have used now 29GB out of 30GB and my provider is about to start charging me huge rates for overage.

This happened to my sons phone and we tried everything. I noticed the SmartThings App was telling me it had an error after each reset so we un-installed it and reset the phone and the wifi problem is now fixed!!
