Galaxy S21 series One UI 6.1 update

Samsung will bring One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. However, the phones are very unlikely to get the Galaxy AI features, as the company aims to bring Galaxy AI features only to last-generation Galaxy devices.

If not the AI features, the One UI 6.1 should these features to the S21 phones (at least):

• Improved gestures and animations
• An improved Single Take mode
• A new long-exposure feature
• Cross-device video editing support using the Studio editing app
• HDR video support in social apps
• Ability to colorize B&W images

According to information on various Tech sites the S21 and S22 series were not mentioned in relation to the AI features, probably unlikely.

We'll have to await an official Samsung update in regards to the eligible phone's to receive the AI features @kackrz 

In regards to your wishlist I'd suggest to send this via your Samsung Members App for Samsung to perhaps consider.

I think most of the AI features rely on the new Snapdragon chip, so it's highly unlikely we will see many of them. I guess the ones that need internet connection and are being processed in the cloud may come but the ones that are being processed on device with the new chip is basically impossible to be compatible with the older devices, especially s21 series.

I will personally wait to upgrade my S21 Ultra with the next S25 Ultra.

Unfortunately most of these AI features won't be coming to S22 and earlier. While S23 will get many but not before March to allow for S24 sales to peak. Let's wait to hear from Samsung

What the ***** @samsung! You should include all updates on our s21 series especially the Ultras! We paid for premium phones, we should get premium updates!

I am looking forward the improvement of animations, I don't mind not having AI, anyway you will have to pay for the service at some point so I'm good with that. Should not be long now, probably next month we will see some stable one UI 6.1 coming through
