Hey Team,
I'm running a Galaxy S21 FE 5G that I purchased on 08.04.2023 and got it on 14.04.2023. Since last friday the display shows annoying vertical white line. I have observed in the forum that, a large number of S21 FE users have reported similar incident.
I am confident that my device has no history of physical damage and has not been mishandled, dropped from height, or splashed with water.
My queries are straightforward and are given below.
1. If the vertical line issue persists, am I not eligible for a free screen replacement? (I know, I have to pay a nominal engineers' labour charge.)
2. How should I proceed to apply for a free screen replacement from Samsung's end?
I’m reaching out to express my deep frustration and disappointment with my Samsung S21 FE. This device, which was marketed as a premium product, has turned out to be a significant letdown. The persistent white line on the screen is not only irritating but completely unacceptable for a device in this price range.I trusted Samsung to deliver a high-quality product, but this issue has made me question that trust. It’s infuriating that a phone I invested so much in is failing me in such a basic way. I expect better from a company of Samsung’s reputation, and this experience is making me reconsider future purchases from your brand.I demand immediate action to resolve this defect. i went to the service centre and they said they will repair it for Rs 9300 for dsiplay change, i mean seriously why would i pay this much amount for the defect which is not from my fault and after just 17 months of using this phone this is what your product is responding even without any update. This is such a rediculous thing.
My location is Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. If I am missing any information, feel free to ask. Any help is appreciated.
Samsung Dev Team, please respond

Hello @Divya2906 👋
This looks to be an issue between the display ribbon and the phone's motherboard.
This happened to a Samsung Galaxy s⁷ edge a few years ago to which Samsung replaced the display.
You'll need to submit your phone to a Samsung Experience Store or via a Samsung Service Centre and they'll assess the phone and advise accordingly.
I wish you all the best with this.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
