Hi guys jusy bought this s21 fe over s22 over a bigger battery 4500amp it is so bad. I hsd s7 edge which i used to get 6hrs screen on time. It drain hella mad with pretty much every app put to sleep. Im just a light user aswell its crazy. Over night i wake up with 15percent battery drain. My mum uses the a52 5g and that phone is so much bettery in battery health wise she had 3hrs screen on time with 70% battery left. While i would have 40% with 3hrs usage.

Same here batterylife is pathetic 😭Also, gaming is drama. After 15 minutes of playing call of duty mobile the phone is throttling like hell...

Did you guys observe any improvement in the battery performance?? I just bought it a week before and I am all facing the same issue. Battery drains more than 10% in the night and I am hardly getting SOT of 3-4 hours and I am changing phone 2 times in a day.

No difference. Battery drains quick left on idle. Samsung just didnt give a ***** producing this phone or optimisation with anything. No surprise now since they wont be making a s22FE. This line up is dead

This is what's been working for me... I don't notice a difference in performance with power saving always on, but I don't play heavy games. And I can't benefit from 120 Hz screen rate...

Yh power saving mode does help allot. But i don't want to limit my experience on the phone for battery life. I shouldn't be having to do this e.g limit to 60hz and performance. I should be able to use the phone in 100% state with deceng battery life

I totally agree. I am now testing the option 'adaptive power saving'.

In my case, the biggest problem seems to be the screen's refresh rate. If I choose High (120 Hz), the phone starts to lag a lot. Seems that it doesn't handle well dynamic refresh rate. And this may be causing battery drain.

Same issue bro,

Today I fully charged mobile at 11:30AM am. At 08:30 PM it's 25%. Only get less than 3.5 hours of SOT.

Need to charge twice a day 😭😭  It's a big battery ?? Why this issue ?? OS or Processor ??

Anyway if it's not fix within two month, I will move to Apple or Pixel

Any updates on battery issue?

I got the phone 3 days back and I hardly get 3.5 hours of SoT. 10-15% battery drain 8 hours overnight. I had Samsung S10 lite before this and I used to charge the phone once in two days even after 2 years. It seems like this phone will need to be charged two times in one day which I hate.

How can Samsung mess up between S10 lite and S21 fe. Both have 4500 mah battery. I dont use 120Hz, AoD, etc, so my S21 fe for me is basically just same as S10 lite.

Hi,

Here are the current settings that I am testing/using on my S21 FE:

  • I recently disabled RAM Plus (https://www.androidpolice.com/samsung-ram-plus-phone-how-to-disable/). I have the impression that my phone is working better.
  • AoD is on.
  • Motion smoothness is standard (120Hz off...).
  • Adaptive battery is on.
  • Processing speed is High.
  • And I use a routine to start power saving when battery level is below 50%...
