Hi can someone please help I had the S21 from when it was released so around 4 years battery started to drain quickly then it wasn't coming on only on charge it would come on so I bought another S21 and had help from Samsung to back up all my Data. Then I used smart switch to transfer all my videos and photos which I had 20,000 photos and 4, 000 videos and other files now on my new phone in Gallery I can only see a few photos and a few videos so where have they gone I did not delete any. On old phone there still in Gallery please help if you can, I have them in one drive but I want them on my phone for now until I find a way to transfer on a SSD card then will clear the phone I had to buy more storage too.

Thanks

Hi! Welcome to samsung members community!

As you said you have them stored in one drive. Download them to the new device

1. Navigate to and open the OneDrive app, and then tap the Photos tab or the location where the file is stored. 2. Tap the photo(s) or video(s) you'd like to download to your device, and then tap the Download icon. 3. Tap SAVE to confirm and then your file will begin downloading

Thank you Johnz.

But I had them in albums on my phone and in one drive they are all mixed up I have photos from 3 years ago at the top of menu. How would I get them all back in their Albums, the whole point of Albums is to find a photo or video quicker. If I go to My files it shows total amount but if I go to one drive it shows different Albums not all photos in them their not named like on my device.

Hmm. It may be worth trying the Smart Switch again. You mentioned you still have the other device? Just open the app on both phones—set one to transfer and the other to receive. It should let you select the gallery; don't worry about duplicates as there's an option in Device Care to delete them.

Or, when you plug your old phone into a PC, look at its storage. It should have all your albums. Maybe try copying them to your phone that way?
