@oldsilver: Please can you clarify the model number of the device you're using, along with which password you are attempting to reset e.g. Google or Samsung account, Lock screen etc, and I will look into this further for you.

Go on to the setting on Samsung or apple then search passwords on the the phone then click on it. Then it will then ask you to type in your old password and then that's it really
