@michok63 Thanks, I have G998U1UESBGXF1 so I assume if I try a rollback it might make things worse, so I'm stuck with waiting for a bug fix.
By the way there's a duplicate here : https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S21/S21-Touchscreen-Issues-after-update-one-UI-6-1/td-p/2...
I had already tried what is flagged as "solution", it doesn't work at all (wipe the cache partition from boot menu).
I bought this phone the 13th of May on Rakuten, brand new US version, now it's out of order because Samsung released a bugged OneUI version. How bad is that 😕
SAMSUNG OFFICIAL is anybody home ? At the very least communicate on the matter.

Your not alone brother, 15000+ and counting experiencing this issue. And yet, SAMSUNG OFFICIAL doesn't say a word on this. That's very disappointing.

Don't by a new screen. Mine is new. The problem is with 6.1. With 6.0 it works perfectly. Just wait for android 15 or fix 6.1.1 by Samsung if it comes one day. Since April they have done nothing.

How do we downvote responses? Samsung's update stopped the phones working. The MINIMUM Samsung needs to do is roll out an official way for users to roll back to a version of the software where the screens were working. It's quite simple: Samsung's software disabled the phones and they need to release a patch or update which solves the problem. It's like Tesla sending out an automatic update disabling cars which have an "aftermarket" windscreen after a stone chips it. Insane arrogance.

Does anyone know the process of filing a lawsuit in this scenario? Looks like that is the only way along with spreading the word not to buy Samsung phones ever again.
Also, if someone can share the official email of complaints, we can flood the inboxes hoping Samsung will give it ears.

So update for anyone curious. Decided randomly to take it to a friend's phone repair place. He put an OEM Samsung screen in it, and that does fix the issue. I paid him for his time and his cost for the part. If you don't know anyone then that's a 400$ Fix (Almost the price of a refurbished phone). Also, my wife's phone auto updated and killed the touch sensitivity of her phone.
Edit: Basically Samsung wants to profit what the refurbishers are making. Otherwise they're loosing money on people who want a Samsung device but who opt for a refurbished phone to either test the waters or can't afford the 1300$ price tag of a new one.

U can try to send it to official service center to check it. High possibility they ask you to change the screen

UI 6.1 has also rendered my S21 unusable. Unacceptable from Samsung for this to not be acknowledged.
My screen is original and I've has no issues until the update last month.
