Is it possible to change the background of settings menu to display the full background image from the theme I use?

What I mean is, when I apply one of the themes from the theme store, and I enter the Settings menu, the background image is only visible through slots, instead of seeing the entire image, like it used to be on my older phone (Samsung s7) 
I am showing you what I mean here:

 As you can see on the picture, the area where I've put the question mark is covering most of the background image (where the check mark is). I want to ask if there is a way to remove that and only show the background image behind all the menu text?

That would be a nice feature but DON'T think goodlock does it . Another thing why isn't the settings page defaulted to the alphabet I know this can be done with registar using goodlock

I have no problem with the settings page order or the text menu itself, I only wish to be able to see a full screen picture instead of it being partially hidden from that non-transparent solid color frame.
